About JDI

The Journal of Digital Imaging (JDI) is the official peer-reviewed journal of the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM), indexed in Medline.

JDI’s goal is to enhance the exchange of knowledge encompassed by the general topic of Imaging Informatics in Medicine such as research and practice in clinical, engineering, information technologies and techniques in all medical imaging environments. JDI topics are of interest to researchers, developers, educators, physicians, and imaging informatics professionals.

These are articles with clinical impact within the imaging informatics community. SIIM members have online access to full-text JDI articles from 1988 to present. Your member log-in provides direct authentication for access to JDI online.

JDI welcomes submissions worldwide. Please click here to go to Manuscript Central to begin the online submission process. Hypothesis-driven research, experience reports, technical notes and review articles are all considered for publication. JDI papers are published “online-first” and are fully citable prior to print publication.
